life got in the way of all my fun...what ever the reason I am back
So let's see...
Mark was hurt at work and spent 7 weeks at home, what fun we had. Me playing nurse maid and he playing the role of constant complainer...needless to say I am thrilled to drive him to/from work every day even if it's only 4 hours.
Next...School.
Big kids are doing great, from what I can tell. Matthew has improved in his writing and now has taken to freeze frame the TV to write down commerical information so he can order things. LOL Reading is still an area i worry about, so we have started working his speech teacher working on reading 1x a week beyond his regular speech. The sounds he makes are incorrect so this needs to be addressed sooner rather than later--which is how the school deals with it, not an issue until he falls behind.
Michael-his teacher ROCKS! I simply love her and how she truly wants and does so right by Michael. It certainly does show, by keeping with his 504 Michael has gained 9lbs SINCE School started, this never ever happen before, typically by now he would be losing weight and getting sicker. Just goes to show how awful last years teacher truly was/is for Michael.
Math seems to be his area he does well in, at least with homework. Enjoys it.
James- He just too funny. He so needs is alone time with his mommy and was very happy to bring Daddy to work. The boy does not like his routine messed up and we have fun the few hours from when he gets home to when the boys come home from school.
His new love is Indiana Jones-Wii game, this is his value and will do anything not to have it taken away.
So today we drove to see Dr. R at his new practice out of state, nice ride but the olde boys drive me nuts with the typical nonsense. "He is touching me" "No I'm not" "yes, you are!" repeat for 2 hours and 30mins....this with dvd's and DiDj games...next time I might move the seats around a bit.
Appointment went great, last time we saw the doctor was July-and he was happily surprised at how good Michael looks. I give the credit to him for not giving up on Michael and always willing to listen to us and work has a team. All 3 boys return in 4 months (weather permitted given it will be winter)
Have to go rest--long day long drive.
Till again........
