How to attract your neighbors attention

Have not one but three police cars in full sirens show up at our house! Than add full siren ambulance for extra measure--how bad is it even the police made a comment about how many people where outside with the hose--trying to figure out what was going on.

Reason for this big adventure-Allergic reaction with Michael. What was suppose to be a fun Labor Day turned into a life/death epi-pen to the thigh scream fest! Michael was not happy about the pen part-we are truly thankfull we had it to save him.Typical Sunday/Holiday--I make breakfast and keeping in with the boys allergies I make them in this order--1st Michael's (turkey sausage), 2nd Matthew's (waffels) 3rd James-homefries 4th/5th Mark and I eat egg sandwiches or french toast-this has been this way for months. No issues just a nice relaxing breakfast and a time for us to plan our fun things to do.

Michael who typically is all over his breaksfast was acting strange-we contributed it to school and being tired-he asked to be excused and layed on the couch. Mark sat with him and than soon after the "I can't breath and my throat itches" was heard from him--I grab the pen, Mark grab the leg and BAMM! SCREAM FEST started which was fine with me--if he is screaming he is breathing. Called 911 and jumped into the shower--I know but I had to wash my hair it was gross and his dad was with him. To be honest I am still unsure if I rinsed all the shampoo out but at least I felt 80% cleaner. Than the above showed up and it was apparent that Michael was in shock so we where quickly rushe to the ER and Michael was given some other medications and watched closely--5 hours after this started we where at Toys R Us looking for a Boo-Boo present for his very painful leg. $150 later we had a happy boy once again and 2 very tired parents.

Thankfully Michael is fine but understandbly scared by this but he seems to be handing it with his typical style--humor and forgiveness. What a scare but a lesson for us all that we can never relax when it comes to food allergies.

more updates later
