School can start now

Well we are offically ready for the start of school. The new clothes, backpacks, lunchboxes, and now new sneakers today...school can begin.

Tomorrow we have James open house for his school. Than James starts on Monday. The older boys have their open house on Tuesday and than start Wednesday.

We have therapy 3x week for different reasons plus now we have football practice to add into the mix. If these boys don't crash I will be surprised.

We went to the beach this week has a last trip before schoool. What an experience is all I will say. We spent 3 1/2 hours at the beach and all came back burnt and hurting. Sunscreen is just not enough I guess with my fair skin boys. We came home much earlier than planned because everyone was so miserable. Pictures will certainly remind us for next year should we forget the pain we are in this week.

I am kinda peeved at myself because the boys 1st day of school photos won't be great due to the blotching burnt skin on their nose/face. Mark's attempt at applying sunscreen was poor at best, given the blotching mess they are in now. I love how he blames the boys...umm who is the parent here?

Well time to get the little one off to bed, he needs to go to be sooner but the older 2 where playing instead of sleeping so he stayed w/me. Things will change next week I am sure when they come home tired from a full day of school.
