So we went to the school last week to meet the new Principal and was given a weird vibe about how they would deal with the boys health issues in the school.
I did not like the ideas given to us. The school does not use desk only tables but for Michael and Matthew they would be the only kids at a desk AWAY from the other kids. Way to make a child feel different to his peers. The list went on with the things we didn't like but in the end the therapy schedule could not be changed and I wasn't going to give up the extra speech/OT/PT/that all 3 boys need at this point.
James will still attend because he needs the extra time with the other kids for his verbal skills and socialization....jury still out on how long we will keep him there. K-5 is an option just need to see if it is a good fit for him also.
